Run by volunteers, for the community
LGBTQIA+ Safe Zone has no paid staff. Every role here is filled by a volunteer. Names and photos are on the way; here's what each role does in the meantime.
Team roles
Community Director
Sets the overall direction for LGBTQIA+ Safe Zone and supports the volunteer team across every area of the community.
Moderation Team
Keeps channels safe and on track, enforces community guidelines, and helps members who need support.
Events Coordinator
Plans and runs community events, game nights, and hangouts that bring members together.
Peer Support Lead
Oversees peer support channels and makes sure members always have someone to talk to.
Outreach & Partnerships
Builds relationships with other communities and organizations, and represents LSZ outside of Discord.
Design & Content
Creates graphics, writes guides, and helps shape how the community looks, sounds, and reads.
