Our Mission
Creating a community for everyone
LGBTQIA+ Safe Zone aims to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies by providing educational resources, community programs, and online spaces where people can learn, grow, and express themselves freely.
We believe support should be immediate, judgment-free, and led by people who understand the experience firsthand. That's why our community is built and run by volunteers who live it.

We dream of a world where every LGBTQIA+ individual and their allies have access to a safe space where they feel seen, supported, and free to be themselves.
Finding a community where you belong and feel safe changes your whole world, and when communities come together to support one another, it changes the world for everyone. We envision affirming communities both online and in person, educational resources that are widely accessible, and no one having to navigate their identity alone.

Shared knowledge and discussion around identity, coming out, and everyday life as an LGBTQIA+ person.
Moderated safe spaces
Clear community guidelines and an active moderation team keep the server respectful and welcoming.
Volunteer-led programming
Everything on the server, from events to support threads, is organized by volunteers who care.
Identity-specific spaces
Channels and groups where members can connect with others who share similar identities and experiences.
Run entirely by volunteers
LGBTQIA+ Safe Zone doesn't have paid staff. Every moderator, event host, and organizer here is a volunteer who chooses to give their time to this community. If something feels good about this place, it's because someone chose to make it that way.
