Who we are

A community built by the people who need it

LGBTQIA+ Safe Zone is a peer-support community that lives mainly on Discord. We started as a small server for people who needed a place to talk, ask questions, and be understood. That's still what we're about.

We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. Nobody here gets paid. Everyone shows up because they care about this community and the people in it.

Support, connection, and a place to belong

Everything we do comes back to the same idea: you shouldn't have to navigate this alone.

Peer support

Talk to people who get it, in channels built for real conversations, not performance. When you're ready, someone's there.

Community & belonging

Hang out, make friends, and find your people through events, game nights, and everyday conversation.

Educational resources

Guides, discussions, and shared knowledge on identity, coming out, and the everyday parts of queer life.

A judgment-free space

Active moderation and clear guidelines keep this a place people can actually relax in and be themselves.

You don't have to have it figured out to belong here. You just have to show up.

    Any name, any pronouns, any point in your journey. No proof of anything required.

  • Real people, real support

    Not a bot, not a script. Volunteers who live this and show up for each other.

  • Your pace, your story

    Share as much or as little as you want. Lurk for a while. There's no wrong way to be here.
